Chai Spiced Hot Cocoa

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk or a plant-based alternative
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or sweetener
  • 1/2 teaspoon chai spice blend
  • Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat.
  • Whisk in the cocoa powder, sugar, and chai spice blend until smooth.
  • Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Notes

Heat the milk gently over medium heat to avoid scorching. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Preheat your mugs by rinsing them with hot water before pouring in the cocoa to keep the drink warmer for longer.
